I’m a New Orleans native who developed a “late in life” passion for gardening. I purchased my first home in SW Portland in the spring of 2013 and have spent the last 3 years reinventing the barren “landscape” of my home having absolutely no idea what I was doing! My hope is that this blog inspires other amateur gardeners to get out there, get dirty and create something beautiful for themselves, the wildlife and the world around them.
